Why rent to own isn't available in New Jersey

New Jersey law treats rent-to-own agreements on titled equipment much like credit sales, which puts them under lending rules the national rent-to-own trailer providers aren't set up to operate within. Rather than bend the model until it breaks the rules, providers simply don't offer programs here yet.
